Nothing beats being prepared, and that’s exactly what we focused on during our Evacuation Drill Training with a Fire Department! Our school staff got hands-on experience in handling emergency situations, from practicing quick and safe evacuations to learning how to stay calm and act fast in case of a fire. One of the highlights was using a fire extinguisher— a modern and effective way to put out small fires—while also learning traditional techniques to manage fire emergencies when necessary. Through this training, we are reminded of the Islamic principle of ikhtiar and tawakkal — doing our best to protect lives while relying on His guidance.
This training is all about reducing panic and increasing readiness, ensuring that if the unexpected happens, we know exactly what to do to keep everyone safe. As Islam teaches us to value life and care for others, we take this responsibility seriously in creating a safe and secure environment for our students. A huge thank you to our expert trainers for making this an informative and exciting experience!
